FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
UAC:
ISLAMIC CULTURAL JIHADISTS INFILTRATE CENTRAL FLORIDA SCHOOLS
Information revealing Islamic jihadist infiltration of Florida schools
was released today from an ongoing investigation conducted by the Central
Florida United American Committee, outraged parents, and other independent
grassroots and journalistic sources.
ORLANDO, FL - 12 MAY 2008 - Three Islamic female
missionaries from the controversial Academy For Learning Islam (A.L.I.) of
Sanford, FL were recently dispatched to a Central Florida High School under
the guise of education in cultural diversity.
Parents quickly objected, and brought the situation to the attention of
the local chapter of the United American Committee, a non-profit
organization whose aim is to combat radical Islam in America. "I just felt
like it shouldn't have been available in the classroom at all." remarked
parent Lisa Wagner to local news agency WFTV, whose daughter came home
reporting about her indoctrination in Islam at Lake Brantley High School.

The UAC objects to the fact that concerned parents have no access to
information about who is speaking to their children in Seminole County
classrooms.
After researching A.L.I.'s website and past activities, it became apparent
to the UAC their primary objective is to proselytize youth to Islam and
gain access into Seminole County Schools to facilitate presentations on
Islam under the cover of "Awareness" and "Diversity".
It is the goal of the United American Committee and concerned parents to
remove the Academy For Learning Islam (A.L.I.) access to students in the
Seminole County and Florida Public School Systems based on their violations
of the establishment clause of the US Constitution and the rules
established by the Speakers Bureau Program from the Community Resource
Department.
The UAC feels A.L.I.'s actions are a gross violation of the separation of
church and state. "This is implied public school endorsement of Islamic
Laws which are in direct conflict with US Jurisprudence." Concerned parents
Lisa and Ron Wagner say. "This is Islamic indoctrination of our children,
and we will not stand for it" Wagner continued.
While the incident in question occurred at Lake Brantley High School in
Ms. Henderson's 10th Grade family dynamics class, there have been other
reports of similar occurrences indicating a growing trend in the public
education system.
A.L.I.'s Islamic missionaries, according to their website, have
infiltrated, Lake Brantley High, Clay Springs Elementary, Ace Gymnastics,
Croom's Academy, Sanford Middle School, Seminole High School, Hunt Club
Montessori, Wicklow Elementary, Wekiva Elementary, Lake Mary Montessori
Academy, Forest City Elementary, and Seminole County Community College.
The Academy for Learning Islam has violated the Seminole County School's
regulations by allowing the A.L.I. group access to grade level K-5 students
at Wicklow, Wekiva, Clay Spring's, and Forest City Elementary Schools.
Kassamali leader of A.L.I. co-authored a 40 page blueprint/battle plan for
infiltrating schools and other groups across the US and Canada. http://www.nasimco.org/pdf/TablighTaskForce.pdf
The UAC urges all concerned parents, community leaders, and activists to
call Seminole County School Board Superintendent Dr. Bill Vogel and voice
their opinions. Dr. Vogel can be reached at 407-320-0006 or by email at Bill_Vogel@scps.k12.fl.us
The United American Committee is a 501c(3) non-profit organization with
chapters nationwide dedicated to educating Americans on the threat of
radical Islam to America and the West. The UAC website can be found at http://www.unitedamericancommittee.org
